The Gustavus Room details the art of 1800’s craftsmanship in the details of the construction, its views of the area, and its size and expanse. Gustavus Swan was asked by the American artist Samuel F. B. Morse, who developed the electrical telegraph system to travel to Central New York to help integrate the telegraph across the state.
